Modeling¶

We model groundwater flow using MODFLOW and other groundwater models, non-reactive and reactive transport with MT3D, RT3D, PHT3D, PHAST, and rtmf6. We also work with PHREEQC and develop our own extension PhreeqPy_. Furthermore, we model lake and river hydrodynamics, transport and water quality with CE-QUAL-W2 and PITLAKQ, a coupled model incorporating CE-QUAL-W2 and PHREEQC, as well as groundwater inflow, erosion and other processes. We are the developers and maintainers of PITLAKQ.
